This is going to sound very much like a whiney teenagery complaint but I don't really feel I can talk to anyone about this and it needs to be off my chest.
Sooooooo i'm at uni, and I like my next door neighbour, basically have since I met him. He's a very sweet and kind person, and is also very funny. He also has a girlfriend. I'd given up on him for a while to be honest after discovering this, but when he came back a week ago from Christmas holidays he tells me that they're having problems and thinks "it's going to end soon."
Wow, ok, so the selfless part of me feels sorry for him because obviously breaking up with a partner isn't easy. The selfish part of me thinks, brilliant, in with a chance maybe?
This has all just been mulling over in my head for the last week. Our house has been on nights out and he's come with us. Wednesday he gave me his shoes to walk home in and walked home in socks for me. Friday night he danced with me and helped take my hair out (on the middle of the dance floor lol) which felt like quite an intimate moment. That night we all chilled in my friend's room and we shared the same pillow and it was all a bit yaknow, a bit closeee.
When he left that night, my friend whose room we'd been in turns to me and says "I think I like him". I was like, errrr, wow. She's got a guy at home that is still in love with her and she still has some feelings for, she knows I like this next door neighbour guy so why go and make things sooooo difficult by feeling the same. I mean I realise it's not her fault but it just seems to selfish imo that she has a guy who already likes her, and she likes back, but noooooooo it has to be the one i've liked since september. >_> Chicks before dicks, I'm hoping she goes off him =/
I appreciate how ridiculous this all sounds but I needed a good rant, and I think it's all done now.
