I think Neville Longbottom would be a good choice for headmaster. At the end of TDH, he was "Professor Longbottom." I wonder if he was just teacher or possibly headmaster? I do agree...Hermione would make a great headmistress!

JKR has Hermione working at the ministry, and harry as an auror, would be really cool if Harry became minister and hermione headmaster, they would really rock the wizarding word.

Course Hermione might be a better minister of magic and Harry take over the school.

I guess there's other choices than Harry's friends for headmaster. I'm not so sure they sat down and said "ok, we need someone who went to school with Harry Potter cos he's so awesome and everyone will think we are really cool as well!" I don't think so, I think they will choose someone capable, not only brave (as Neville *blah blah* and Luna).
