i like the movie version of Barty Crouch jr. i thought his mad man behavior was because of being in prison and for being under the unforgivable. ANd david tennant (the man who played him) was given a bit of free-reign i think when playing the character.
Yeh I believe the Barty Crouch Jr in the book was alot more cowardly than David Tennant's character. If I remember correctly he was dragged into Azkaban screaming and crying or something?

Good point, but I like him better in the book, as that cowardly young boy. I would have loved to see that scene in the Pensieve with him screaming and bawling.
Yeah I suppose the wider HP audience wouldn't expect Voldemort to have a winging brat as a servant but I suppose Wormtail is a bit of a bumbling coward. Perhaps film-makers thought he came over a bit Malfoy, not a character who could carry out a calculated role of the complex Mad eye Moody.
