As the anticipated Half Blood-Prince rolls out in the theatres, it also brought joy and smile to all hose Harry Potter fans, who have never ever read any of the seven

books. They are the only ones, who can enjoy that movie... if you call it so. Yes, it had been a nice animation… but not the same for story-line.
There is certainly no comparison between both of them. The movie stands far below even from its prequels. The only justifiable character was that of Horace Slughorn (

), who did his job well. All others are not up to previous five versions.
All those 3 hours had been the most disheartening time I have ever spent, and it had been the first time that I actually slept in any movie... and that too Harry Potter and

the Half Blood-Prince. What did I chose to watch it then? Read on…
Just because I wanted to have a deep peep in the collection of memories (Pensieve) which Dumbledore had collected. All those were nowhere to be even mentioned. The

best subject in Harry Potter’s life, Defense Against the Dark Arts has been stripped off. Those detentions with Snape? The house points system is...

I think 1st of all that people can compare the book and movie all day long if they so feel like it, it is only natural to see what has been changed and wonder what that will force them to change in the future.. the intire story line is based on the book and they must keep the most basic things in even when they change others, this makes us curious as to how they will continue on their path without messing up the basic story line...
2nd.. I was very disappointed in the movie... it felt like the whole thing was just a set up for the last 2.. sitting and watching the movie i didnt feel like i was being pulled into what was going on.. i instead was being set up for future events...
Finally... I have felt that each HP movie has been the best one yet.. imo... each one seemed to be a little better than the last... HBP just didnt cut it.. it was not the best one yet for me... I wouldn't even give it 3rd of all the HP movies...

I must admit that it's always been like that for me. I've always compared the film to the book. I wonder what's different with this one since I didn't. Anyway, I understand what several of you say with this one being set up for the last two, but I honestly didn't notice it that much. I enjoyed how the plot wasn't thick the entire time (like in the Goblet of Fire-film) and just forgot to pay attention to the fact that it really didn't build up that much at all. I only thought "oh no, it's nearly over" when Dumbledore told Harry that they would go to the cave "tonight".

Maybe we would all have been happy if they had the film as it is, AND have some more action (although I think I would've liked it slightly less if they had)

Personally, I like both the movie and the book. The movie did a good job of going along the lines of the book. I loved them both!

the ending certainly set up for the next movie, really did not see a lot of set up during the movie, though I have only seen it once, so maybe those points were missed, personally is a good movie,
