These two characters were ruined for me in the movie. I pictured them so much better than the movies showed them to be. First I pictured Sirius alot more handsome and not so tattoed. They made Lupin seem like he was in love with Lily Potter. Sirius was my favorite character in POA. What are ya'lls takes on this.

I think they made Sirius look a lot more like a stodgy old man with long hair than a gaunt, foreboding figure. I thought he'd look a lot stronger and fiercer than he did in all of the movies. As for Lupin, the actor was okay. I don't love or hate how he played the part.

Sirius was very different from the way I imagined him, and when I'm reading the books I don't imagine him as he is in the film, even now, but a lot of the other characters I do now...

Niether of them were anything like I pictured, but the image of Sirius stuck and it's what I got used to, Lupin I still have trouble imagining though.

i actually pictured Sirius Black as a black guy... i dont know why lol (last name maybe), and im not a big fan of how Lupin looks - i pictured him looking way cooler.

oh, and i hated the Lupin mustache

Yes, very emasculating and made him look weird. The book said shabby, not utterly without taste in his appearance.

I totally agree. Lupin was totally wrong to play a werewolf. He just didn't fit the part at all. He was too umm soft

I think Sirus black should have been more help to Harry than he was. I mean Sirus black should have gone to the dudley's house and stoped the abuse there. After all is was the GodFather. He should have been there for Harry a bit more.. I also think JK killed him a bit early

i must agree i had a totally different view of Sirius when i read the book. i didn't imagine him looking so old and fragile. as for lupin i thought he was good. yes he is a werewolf but not by choice he was trying to prove he wasn't just a savage beast but human.
